A Century of Service in Central
New York
Syracuse Jewish Family Service is a social service agency
established over 100 years ago to identify and address human service
needs, and to preserve and strengthen family life of both the Jewish
and general communities of Central New York. We accomplish this by
providing therapeutic services, counseling, education, material
assistance and individual and family support.
Different Programs to Meet Different Needs
At
Syracuse Jewish Family Service we know that no one approach can meet
the needs of all people or all families. We offer a variety of services
that are culturally sensitive and individually appropriate. We strive
to provide service in a compassionate and understanding way, remaining
particularly sensitive to the needs of individuals and families in
transition or crisis.
Syracuse Jewish Family Service is a beneficiary agency of the
Syracuse Jewish Federation, Onondaga County Department of Aging and
Youth, a member of the Association of Jewish Family and Children's
Agencies, and a United Way Agency.
